Silas Murders, LCSW

Silas Murders is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maine. Silas has five years of experience working alongside adults presenting with concerns related to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, life transitions, and LGBTQ+ identities. Silas has experience working with addiction and recovery – placing major emphasis on alcohol and substance use education during his master’s level education.

Silas believes that the patient and therapist’s connection is a powerful tool for change. His therapy approach is strongly anchored in person-centered techniques, although he has experience with multiple modalities. Silas believes that each client is the expert of their life, and that his role is to engage a patient in a manner that supports their identified goals and values by offering feedback, resourceful tools, and an affirming space.
