Rafael Caycho, PhD, MHA, joined Bicycle Health in July 2020 as a Clinical Support Specialist, following many years of experience in healthcare administration. Rafael earned his Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA) and PhD in Health Services – Healthcare Administration from Walden University. His primary research interest focuses on health disparities experienced by minorities, particularly Spanish-speaking populations. Rafael's dissertation explored "Experiences of Spanish-speaking patients using interpreter services with their physicians," which is available here. Rafael is originally from Lima, Peru, but has lived the majority of his life in Atlanta, Georgia. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and spending time with his wife and two dogs.
