Jacquelyn is dual certified as a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is a honorary Graduate of three Universities which include Incarnate Word University where she completed her Bachelor's in Nursing, Columbus State University where she obtained her Master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and Walden University where she completed the Post Master's Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. Jacquelyn is a member of 3 professional associations: the American Nurses Association of Nurse Practitioner's, the Texas Nurse Practitioner Association, and the Psychiatric Advance Practice Nurses of Texas. She has a vast variety of nursing experience to include hospital, clinical, home health and field medicine. Jacquelyn, who is bilingual in Spanish, brings empathy and a relaxed communication style into her work, and her patients report that she is easy to talk to. Jacquelyn's advanced practice experience includes family medicine, psychiatry and addiction medicine.  She joined Bicycle Health Sept 2024. She is driven by her mission to assist in addressing the nation's public health crisis by partnering with Bicycle Health to increase patient access to opioid use disorder treatment. Jacquelyn believes in patient focused care and she strives to give her patients the best individual care possible.
