Dokota Brown, NP, is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder. Dakota joined Bicycle Health in August 2024 and brings nearly six years of focused MAT experience. She earned her BSN from St. Xavier University, her MSN from Maryville University, and completed her Post-Master's PMHNP training at Chamberlain University. Her clinical practice is grounded in the understanding that untreated mental health conditions significantly influence addiction, which led her to pursue advanced psychiatric training. She provides evidence-based care using motivational interviewing and trauma-informed approaches to help patients manage cravings, triggers, and co-occurring mental health symptoms. Dokota closely monitors how conditions such as depression and anxiety impact treatment outcomes and collaborates with patients to adjust care plans that support long-term stability. She is committed to delivering patient-centered, compassionate care that supports recovery and overall well-being.
