Eric Bergersen, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant, and he joined Bicycle Health as a medical provider in October 2020. Eric earned his Master of Science in Health Sciences from George Washington University, and he has focused his career in emergency medicine and addiction medicine. Throughout his time working in the emergency department, Eric finds it particularly rewarding to be the first point of contact for individuals living with various addictions, and he’s passionate about breaking down barriers to accessible and equitable treatment for opioid use disorder. Eric works with Bicycle Health to develop relationships with both rural and urban community emergency departments nationally, where access to addiction and mental health support services are often needed the most. In his free time, Eric enjoys cycling, surfing, freediving, and spoiling his elderly dog.
