Eric Bergersen, PA, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Emergency Medicine and Addiction Medicine. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Northeastern University in Boston before moving to Washington, D.C., to complete his Master’s Degree at George Washington University.
Throughout his time working in the emergency department, Eric has found it deeply rewarding to serve as the first point of contact for individuals living with various substance use disorders. This firsthand clinical experience inspired his mission to break down barriers to accessible and equitable treatment for opioid use disorder within acute care environments.
At Bicycle Health, Eric focuses on bridging the gap between emergency care and substance use disorder recovery. He works to develop strategic relationships with both urban and rural community emergency departments, ensuring that vital addiction and mental health support services are made available where they are needed most.
