Vivian Sona is an AANP Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelors Degree at the Univerity of Texas Arlington and worked as an RN for 4 years with the Texas Health Resources Med/Surg/Urology department. She then moved to Georgia for her Master's Degree at South University in Savannah Georgia where she graduated in 2016. Upon graduating as an NP she got a job at an outpatient addiction treatment center in Arlington Texas where she worked for 4 years. Working in an addiction outpatient center increased her passion for addiction medicine which has brought her to my current position as an NP at Bicycle Health. She is currently working on her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of Texas in Arlington and she is actively writing her graduate project which is on Supervised Dosing of Opioid Substitution Therapy to prevent misuse, diversion, and improve medication adherence.
