Shannon joined the Bicycle Team in Dec 2020. She has worked in many areas of healthcare, from family practice to level 1 trauma E.R.s since 1997. She started working in the SUD/recovery field in 2018 with Groups;RecoverTogether. She went on to earn her CCAR Recovery Coach certification and is also dual certified in the state of Ohio as a Mental Health and SUD Peer Supporter. As a person in long term recovery, Shannon is a passionate advocate of harm reduction and multiple pathways to recovery.
She currently lives in Hartville Ohio with her two children, MANY succulents and her cat Izzy. She enjoys time outdoors with her family hiking and camping,working with her plants, and flea markets.
