Laura Sansonetti, NP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner whose unique path to addiction medicine began with her extensive background treating trauma, neurology, and spine patients. While managing these complex cases, she witnessed how patients frequently developed a tolerance to prescription pain medications, sparking her professional curiosity about the intersections of chronic pain and opioid dependence.
During her advanced clinical training, Laura worked within a family practice that utilized medication for opioid use disorder (OUD). This pivotal experience inspired her to deepen her expertise by pursuing specialized training through the American Society of Addiction Medicine and practicing within a dedicated OUD treatment setting.
Driven by a desire to expand her impact, Laura focused on building her clinical experience until officially joining the Bicycle Health team in 2023. As a clinician, she blends her deep understanding of physical trauma and neurology with evidence-based addiction medicine, providing compassionate, specialized care that guides patients through their recovery journey.
