Get Started with Bicycle Health
Bicycle Health offers confidential, evidenced-based, virtual care for opioid use disorder. Through the Bicycle Health app, we offer physician visits, lab tests, instant messaging, counseling, care navigation and management, and online support groups. If indicated, our clinical professionals prescribe buprenorphine, a medication that reduces opioid withdrawal, cravings, and overdose risk. The Bicycle Health platform then guides patients to the nearest pharmacy with medication in stock.
Program Performance & Outcome Metrics
A peer-reviewed study of Bicycle Health’s model found that our 90-day retention rate was 80% for insured consumers, compared to the industry average of 44%. About half of all people treated by Bicycle Health’s virtual program are still in recovery at six months. 70% of patients are seen by a treatment professional within 24 hours of enrollment. Bicycle Health’s Pharmacy Finder improves access to buprenorphine by referring consumers to a pharmacy with medication in-stock whenever possible.

Program Fees & Funders
Bicycle Health services are covered by Medicaid, Medicare and employer-based insurance in most states. Insurance typically covers medication costs after your co-pay. Bicycle Health’s pharmacy finder tool helps our clinical staff refer members to the nearest pharmacy with buprenorphine in-stock.
