Sarah excitedly joins Bicycle Health as the new Director of Behavioral Health and has been tasked with building the program. She received her Bachelor of Social Work from Wheelock College and her Master of Social Work from the University of Connecticut. She's also steadily working on completing her MBA from Louisiana State University Shreveport as well. Sarah has extensive experience in the mental health and addictions arena and has helped create, design, and implement numerous programs over the years. She is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Kentucky Master of Social Work program. She sits as the President of the Manchester, CT HOPE Initiative Board of Directors, a nonprofit law enforcement community diversion program for people living with OUD, which she founded. Sarah's expertise is often tapped nationally at conferences, colleges, and in the media, but her focus has always been to create meaningful social change and use her hope, strength, and experience to shatter stigma. Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, staying active, and volunteering for various causes (especially those that serve individuals, families, and communities impacted by addiction), including increasing universal access to Narcan.
