Matt Evans, MD, is board certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine, and he joined Bicycle Health as a medical provider in March 2021. Matt earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and completed his residency at the University of Utah. While in residency, he learned to treat patients with hepatitis C and also educated clinicians about the importance of naloxone (Narcan) for opioid overdose. After residency training, Matt returned to his hometown in Phoenix, focusing his career in Addiction Medicine and volunteering with a local harm reduction group, Sonoran Prevention Works. Matt joined Bicycle Health after completing the HonorHealth/Community Bridges Integrated Addiction Medicine Fellowship in 2021. In his free time, Matt enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, snowboarding, kayaking, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
