Ken Starr, MD, is board certified in Emergency Medicine, Addiction Medicine, and Preventative Medicine and joined Bicycle Health in May 2021. Dr. Starr became committed to providing addiction medicine specialty care ten years ago after the overdose death of his brother. Since that time, he’s been twice board certified in Addiction Medicine. He provides substance abuse treatment services to patients on the California Central Coast specializing in opiate, alcohol and benzodiazepine dependence. At Bicycle Health, he hopes to increase access to medication assisted treatment and help the organization provide the highest quality patient experience.
In his spare time, Dr. Starr enjoys cycling, working out and spending time with his dogs.
