Kanwal Qidwai, MD, MS, is board certified in Public Health & General Preventive Medicine, and she joined Bicycle Health as a medical provider in November 2018. Kanwal earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Dow University of Health Sciences in Pakistan and completed her residency at the University of New Mexico Preventive Medicine Residency Program, where she also obtained her Master of Science (MS) in clinical research. Kanwal’s interest in addiction medicine developed throughout her residency training, particularly during her work with the New Mexico Department of Health. Kanwal ultimately pursued Addiction Medicine Fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Northern California, and she enjoys collaborating with her patients to develop safe, confidential, and individualized treatment plans. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and traveling.
