David Son, DO, MPH, is a triple board certified physician who earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) and Master in Public Health (MPH) at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Hackensack Meridian Health in NJ, Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine residency at Medical City Fort Worth/Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Addiction Medicine fellowship at Addiction Institute of Mount Sinai in NY.
Dr. Son realized that addressing both chronic pain and substance dependence is a challenging task as an internist, which eventually fueled his passion for addiction medicine. He joined Bicycle Health in August 2021 as a doctor committed to combating the opioid epidemic. Successful opioid addiction treatment means achieving stable physical and mental health and becoming a responsible and conscientious family, friend, neighbor, coworker, and community member. He finds that nothing is more rewarding than contributing to this victory by sharing his knowledge and experience! In his free time Dr. Son enjoys eating, going to museums and art exhibits, binge watching series or movies, dancing, and taking care of his three wonderful cats and five nano aquariums.
