Dr. Anusha Chandrakanthan is a Board Certified Addiction Medicine physician with over 5 years' of experience. She graduated from Stanford University’s Addiction Medicine fellowship in 2018. She has helped a variety of people with addiction. Including people with polysubstance abuse, complex co-morbities and homelessness. Before Stanford, Dr. Chandrakanthan worked at a Federally Qualified Health Center in the Central Valley where she developed a special interest in treating patients with chronic pain and substance use disorders. During her time there, she helped create safe prescribing guidelines through her work with the pain management committee. She is passionate about the integration of addiction medicine and primary care and improving access to substance use disorder treatment for patients.
