Behavioral Health Practioner (LCSW)

Bicycle Health is a telemedicine-based Opioid Dependence Treatment service. We are looking to hire a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to add to our team of Addiction Medicine physicians.

Our goal is to improve access and treatment for patients with substance use disorders and to provide comprehensive care through telemedicine.

  • Counseling clients helping them to gain access to various resources and helping clients to confront issues that are negatively affecting their way of living such as poverty, abuse, mental health and addiction.
  • Collaborate with engineers and providers to build and manage a digital peer support community.
  • Track and conduct surveys to measure outcomes of our program.
  • Build a model for tracking the risk of relapse and proactively engage high risk patients with behavioral health care.
  • Proactively links clients with available internal and external resources to develop/maintain treatment plans, transition plans, progress notes and appropriate updates in support of the health and recovery needs of each patient.
  • Keep accurate records to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards
  • Hire other behavioral health practitioners (social workers, counselors, etc.) to create a team of behavioral health expertise.
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Social Work with specific coursework or training in addictions, symptomology and treatment of other mental health disorders preferred.
  • Licensed as an LCSW.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in substance use disorder treatment.
  • Prior experience working within a community mental health or primary care, medical setting preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to stay ahead of the curve and thrive in fast-paced work environment.
  • Familiarity with technology - computers, smartphones, tablets.
